High quality display technology from Taiwan

The company AOC was founded in Taiwan in 1967 and already focused on specializing in displays for various fields back then. Even though the company has established itself more in the gaming sector, the company also develops powerful monitors for the office that are energy efficient and stand out with a unique design.

Of course, AOC has also jumped on the curved monitor bandwagon and has developed some impressive curved monitors over time. Gamers in particular benefit from these monitors, as they have been equipped with corresponding features especially for video games. Find the best AOC monitors at a glance here.

AOC’s G1 series can especially score points with gamers due to a relatively low price and a fast VA panel. Thus, the high-quality monitors are affordable and you can immediately jump into the gaming action. Furthermore, the G1 series are curved monitors and they provide an immersive gaming experience even at a small inch size. Here, the curved radius changes from an inch size of 27 from 1500R to 1800R.

Furthermore, the monitors come with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms, which is why games run smoothly, completely without tearing. Thanks to FreeSync, the monitors are compatible with AMD graphics cards and are quite impressive with a contrast of 3000:1 and a brightness of 250 cd/m².

Additionally, the monitors are ergonomically adjustable, only the 32-inch model can only be tilted. However, the monitors offer all common connections, including a VESA standard for a wall mount.

According to the manufacturer, the G2 series is explicitly aimed at eSports gamers, which is why all sizes have a refresh rate of 240 Hz. Starting with a size of 27 inches, the models come in a curved design and a VA panel, which is why they give the impression of being in the middle of the action, especially in eSports.

A fast response time of 1 ms and a Full HD resolution support the monitor’s speed. Other features like FreeSync Premium, a contrast of at least 1000:1 and a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m² make the monitors of the G2 series an excellent choice on the gaming desk.

AGON is an ancient Greek word for competition and battle and that’s exactly what AOC’s premium series was designed for: the challenging video gaming experience. Especially in the eSports sector, for streamers or hardcore gamers, the hardware has to be right down to the smallest detail and that’s exactly what the AGON models are designed for.

A refresh rate of 144 Hz, as well as a response time of 1 ms, FreeSync and compatible G-Sync make the Premium series an excellent range of models that deliver very good performance even in high-resolution and fast-paced games. Compared to the G1 and G2 series, the 24-inch model already comes with a QHD resolution and thus delivers detailed and sharp images at a compact size.
